Hili Solomon, of blessed memory
The youngest daughter of Beni and Magi; sister to Tal and Keren-Or.
Born on 15 Cheshvan 5757 (October 28, 1996).
She lived in Kfar Yona; in childhood she grew up in Hong Kong.
Out of a strong desire to do meaningful service, Hili chose to enlist in the IDF’s Oketz unit in November 2014.
She proudly completed the unit’s training track as a combat ordnance specialist. After two years she was discharged due to injury.
Following her discharge—and the “big trip” to South America—she worked for a communications company and in high-tech.
In the last two years of her life she created a party and festival clothing brand, “Ashkara,” and was on the verge of a major launch.
She never got the chance.
Hili was murdered at the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, three weeks before her 27th birthday.
She just wanted to dance…
She was laid to rest in Kfar Yona and leaves behind, in profound grief, her parents and two sisters—
—and a sea of loving, heartbroken friends.
