What is the Privacy Policy?

Leading the Pack – Oketz Unit Alumni Association (R.A.), a registered association, registration number 580447415 (“the Association” or “we”), respects the privacy of users of the Association’s website, operating at www.oketzfoundation.org and at any other address at the Association’s discretion (“the Website”). We are committed to protecting and safeguarding the privacy of Website users (“you” or the “User”).

This Privacy Policy (“the Policy”) applies to all services on the Website (“Website Services”). Its purpose is to inform you of how we collect, manage, and use personal information that you provide through the Website or that we collect during your use of the Website. You should exercise caution and judgment when providing personal information that may identify you or others.

The Policy also explains how you may contact us about any matter concerning privacy. The Policy forms an integral part of the Website’s Terms of Use and is intended to provide you with information about our privacy practices before you decide to provide us with personal information.

This Policy is written in the masculine form for convenience only and applies equally to all genders. Any reference in singular also applies to plural, as applicable.

“Personal Information” in this Policy means any data or information relating to an identified person or to a person who can reasonably be identified, such as your full name, email address, telephone numbers, information about your service in the Oketz Unit, and any other details requested through our registration forms or provided in any other manner.

Providing Personal Information to the Association

General use of the Website and viewing its content does not require registration or submission of personal details. However, certain sections—such as membership forms, responses to job postings, and other digital services—may require you to provide identifying information, such as full name, phone number, active email address, and other details as needed. Mandatory fields will usually be clearly marked.

Examples of cases where we may ask you for personal information include (but are not limited to):

  • Registration for unit alumni: Completing the registration form for Association membership requires providing your full name, phone number, military ID, gender, personal ID number, email, home address, date of birth, enlistment and discharge dates, platoon, team, and the name of your bootcamp commander. You may also provide information about your workplace, job title, and academic degrees.
  • Registration as a Friend of the Association: Requires your full name, phone number, email, and your connection to the unit or the Association. You may also provide your home address.
  • Job applications: If you respond to job postings, we may collect identification details, contact information, and professional background (such as CVs and references) in order to assess your candidacy.
  • Contacting us: If you reach out for any purpose, we may collect identification and contact details, as well as basic information about the nature of your inquiry.

You are not legally obligated to provide personal information. Supplying it is voluntary, but in order to use Website Services effectively, or to complete registration or requested actions, you may need to provide such information. Providing false or incomplete information may prevent completion of the requested action, reduce service quality, or hinder our ability to contact you when necessary.

If you provide us with personal information about third parties, you must inform them that you are sharing their details with the Association and confirm that you obtained their explicit, informed consent.
