Karlo was Y’s dog, who participated in dozens of daring operations during his service. In 2012, after completing his operational service, Karlo was retired and adopted by Y.
Shortly after, Karlo began suffering from leg pain. Upon examination, an incurable cancerous tumor was discovered. Y received the devastating news about Karlo’s illness while in the midst of hiking the Israel Trail. As a gesture of honor and appreciation for the unique bond they shared, Y decided to build a special cart for Karlo. In this way, accompanied by his beloved dog in the cart, the two completed the trail together. A few weeks after completing the journey, Karlo passed away.
Y’s exceptional commitment to his dog deeply touched and moved all of us, symbolizing the special bond and dedication we have to our heroic four-legged companions.
