Foundation Vision

A community of the unit’s veterans, working to promote and support its members, strengthen and preserve the unit’s legacy, and contribute to Israeli society and the broader community.

Goals

Building Community

We’re creating a strong, diverse alumni network that preserves intergenerational ties by supporting the transition to civilian life.
We promote professional connections, mutual support among alumni and their families, care for those affected by service, and ensure the well-being of retired dogs.

Standing by the Unit

We support the unit’s soldiers and dogs, accompany lone soldiers, and strengthen the reserve force.
We preserve and honor the unit’s legacy and pride — and embrace the bereaved families with care and solidarity.

Giving Back to Society

Inspired by the unit’s values, we promote social and educational involvement among our members, encourage meaningful military service among youth, and support the inclusion of people with disabilities in the army and society. We also create social initiatives that involve working with dogs.

Opening Registration for Cohort B of the Mentoring Program

9/12/2024

Dear Alumni,

We’re excited to announce the opening of registration for both mentors and mentees for Cohort B of the “Guiding Paw” mentoring program, led by the Leading the Pack Foundation.

The program is designed to offer support and guidance to alumni who are seeking direction and mentorship from experienced professionals in fields relevant to the personal and professional challenges they are facing.

Who is the program for?

Anyone who served in the unit and is currently facing a professional or personal crossroads.

Who is the program not for?

This is not a therapeutic framework, a career placement service, or a platform for short-term, one-off guidance.

More details can be found in the alumni WhatsApp group.
